بالرغم من كونه هداف الفريق، إلا أن النجم المصري محمد صلاح فشل في الحصول على أي صوت، خلال التصويت على جائزة أفضل لاعب بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، والتي كشف عن نتائجها الجمعة.

واختير جوردان هندرسون أفضل لاعب في إنجلترا في 2020، بناء على تصويت أعضاء رابطة كتاب الرياضة.

ومع الكشف عن نتائج الأصوات، تبين بشكل مفاجئ أن النجم المصري لم يحصل على أي صوت من رابطة كتاب الرياضة.

وبينما استبعد الكتاب صلاح، حصل 5 من زملائه على أصوات، وهم الإنجليزيان جوردان هندرسون وترينت أليكساندر أرنولد، والبرازيلي أليسون، والسنغالي ساديو ماني، والهولندي فيرجل فان دايك.

وحصل 15 لاعبا في الدوري على أصوات، من بينهم لاعب وولفرهامبتون أداما تراوري، وهداف ساوثهامبتون داني إنغز.

ويحتل صلاح المركز الرابع في ترتيب هدافي الدوري، برصيد 19 هدفا، وهو هداف ليفربول الأول هذا الموسم، ولكن مستواه سجل تراجعا مقارنة بموسميه الأوليين في ليفربول.

يذكر أن صلاح حاز على الجائزة بتصويت كاسح، في 2018، بعد أن سجل 32 هدفا بالدوري، وتألق في موسمه الأول مع "الريدز".

هندرسون جاء في مقدمة هؤلاء اللاعبين، ليتوج بالجائزة، وجاءت المراكز الخمسة الأولى كالتالي:

1- جوردان هندرسون، ليفربول.

2- كيفين دي بروين، مانشستر سيتي.

3- ماركوس راشفورد، مانشستر يونايتد.

4- فيرجيل فان دايك، ليفربول .

5- ساديو ماني، ليفربول.

بينما من المركز السادس حتى المركز الخامس عشر، لم يتم تصنيف اللاعبين، ولم يتواجد بينهما محمد صلاح، وجاءت أسماء اللاعبين كالآتي:

ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد وأليسون من ليفربول، رحيم سترلينج وسيرجيو أجويرو من مانشستر سيتي، جوني إيفانز وجميس ماديسون من ليستر سيتي، إلى جانب كل من وان بيساكا مدافع مانشستر يونايتد، وجناح وولفرهامبتون واندارز أداما تراوري، ومهاجم ساوثهامبتون داني إنجز، فضلًا عن صانع ألعاب أستون فيلا جاك جريليش

Despite being the team's top scorer, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah failed to get any votes during the vote for the Premier League's best player award, whose results were revealed on Friday.

3- Marcus Rashford, Manchester United.

4- Virgil Van Dyck, Liverpool.

5- Sadio Mane, Liverpool.

While from sixth to fifteenth place, the players were not ranked, and Mohamed Salah did not exist between them, and the names of the players came as follows:

Trent Alexander Arnold and Alison from Liverpool, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero from Manchester City, Johnny Evans and James Madison from Leicester, alongside Manchester United defender Wan Pesca, Wolverhampton Wanderers Adama Traore and Southampton forward Danny Ings, as well as Aston Villa playmaker Jack Greelish
